A Window To The World

 17 September 2020

Again, another slow month in terms of progress on the house.

Work outside the house, and more truck trouble kept me busy. Otis' high pressure oil pump started leaking oil. I had to remove the HPOP and replace all the O-ring seals and a gasket. You can see the O-ring on the hose fitting on the right is nearly disintegrated.

I did finally finish my first set of window sashes for the parlor. They came out just ok in my opinion. The next set will be better. After Amy glazed them, we were finally able to replace the temporary plywood sashes I had put in.

The upstairs window still has the plywood sashes.

  1. Looks pretty good to me. Did you make them yourself?

    1. Yes, it was a learning experience, and over $100 in router bits!
