Amy has finished refinishing the study! It looks great and has lightened the room up considerably. We still have to repair the capital and replace the missing shelf on the mantel. All the doors, trim work, and wainscoting are faux finished, which we just cleaned off.
The movers showed up to take the mobile home today. The buyer and I had moved the two porches away a couple weeks earlier.
They had a really cool, remote control, purpose built tractor for maneuvering the trailer around to get it out.
And just like that, it was gone. With water, drain, and electricity still available here, we might consider building a workshop or something later on.
