For Mother's Day, Amy wanted to see some progress on the porch, so that was our focus was for Sunday and my focus on Monday.
Roof decking is 1 inch thick by 10 wide, just like they did it 130 years ago, although we are using screws.
Roof decking is all done!
This picture gives perspective on how much rain water ends up in the three door corner. Three doors because below the three sided roof are the door to the 1st floor bedroom, the foyer, and the dining room (and a dining room window).
30 pound felt for the main part of the roof.

The next step will be figuring out how to prevent rain water from causing damage to the bottom rows of siding, window sills, and wall studs behind them.
