We made progress on the floor boards for the back porch. First came the purchase and stacked them to dry out.
This past weekend we had time to make a first pass through the table saw to square up one edge. And then another pass through the router for the tongue side.
The big tool table I constructed with the router built in to it has really worked out well. It's so heavy that we had no trouble pushing the boards through.
The dust separator (a Dust Deputy 2.5 Delux) was also a big help. It works really well, but the 5 gallon buckets filled up pretty fast. As long as we kept an eye on them and changed them out at the right time, almost nothing ended up in the shop vac.
Now we have pressure treated, tongue and groove boards ready for installing!
